Utomhus
Hanstholm Fyr, Denmark
July - August 2019

Utomhus consisted of an exhibition, and series of workshops within the boundary of an artist residency. Bronze sculptures and a large fish skins textile work inhabited three rooms of Hanstholm’s Art Space, based in Hanstholm’s North Atlantic Lighthouse.

One workshop at Det Gamle Røgeri in Hanstholm and three workshops for Kulturmødet, explored fish skin as a material. Participants were invited to make an artwork using preserved haddock skins whilst discussing the sea as a connector and living in a place depicted as being ‘on the edge’.
